This weekend I did it, I took the plundge and bought a weaving loom. I have a friend who has been trying to get me to become her apprentice for a while and I just couldn't commit. So now I have, figure if I have the equipment, I should do something with it.
The loom is an antique Cambridge, 4 harness. I bought it at an auction sale Saturday morning. We looked it over and it is in decent shape, but the bonus is there is more than one complete loom there! There are enough pieces for at least 1 3/4 looms, so we can use the best of what is there and maybe in the future get the pieces to complete the second loom.
I also signed up for the National Novel Writing Month. Gonna give that a try, 50,000 words in a month doesn't really seem like a lot, but then again, I haven't really started that yet. Looks like I am all about starting new projects this month, lets hope I can finish some too!
